Hegemony or Feminism

Does hegemony (I’m assuming you are referring to the social dominance exerted by a dominant group, i.e, males in this case) reject feminism? I’d say yes. Although “reject” may be a stretch at times, it does undermine the advocacy of women’s rights.

Can feminism be studied as social dominance?  Again, I am assuming you mean the dominance of men over women. So, yes. Although dominance of men over women isn’t the prime focus of third-wave feminists, I think most feminists in countries like Nepal and India still follow the second-wave ideals. Hence, the study of a patriarchial society and the dominance of men over women does shed some light on the feminist ideals of the populace.

I am not sure if I understand the question completely, but I don’t see an either-or argument here.
