Sitara, Thank you for your encouraging words. The most important duty to perform at this point next to mourning the most disturbing destruction of lives of our twelve brothers in Iraq is to do everything we possibly can do to never let another innocent life and property be damaged at home or put our brothers and sisters in foreign lands at greater risks. We can do this only with great sense of urgency, duty and sensibility. I thank you and other Sajhaites like Suman Pradhan, Poonte, Shirish etc who have just done that with their postings in various threads when Sajha is flooded with a large number of posting with foolish and dangerous messages. Mine was just a small part of that collective act. Although I am terribly insecure about my English, I thought this is a moment for message, not for art. So I posted this scabrous piece anyway. However, it was not borrowed from a particular poem that I am aware of. Will be happy to know about the poem you are talking about. Could you recall where you read that ?
