My heart sinks too, hearing these words of hatred. Of course your reaction is anger and great emotion when you see the video but to bring out the best in yourself, not the worst, you have to make an effort to be just. This means you MUST keep in mind that it was Muslim fundamentalist militants who killed the 12 hostages, not Muslims in general. Just like there are also Hindutva fundamentalists, Christian fundamentalists, and many other religious fanatics who have killed in the name of God, Allah, Jehovah, Shiva, whatever. You HAVE to get a hold of yourself or else the violence will spiral out of control. It already started to do this in Kathmandu, Nepalgunj, Biratnagar, all other places. I was so sad to see the mosques burnt on 1 September. So sad. Nepal has a long history of religious tolerance and coexistence in comparison with other countried. Why should it change now? I heard people saying things like "Death to Islam!" etc... and then two more people died in Nepal (people in the riot crowd shot by police), so now it is 14 dead from the tragedy. How many more now? How many more? And also now Muslims in Nepal live in fear. Why should they have to? They have been equally hurt by the tragedy in Iraq as you, but now they are hurt again by their own country's people. Afraid to show their faces, afraid to worship like every Hindu in Nepal can worship freely... Shameful time for humans.
