@tonyk: Unless you have siblings(younger brother or sister who is unmarried or elder brother married will also help ), it is difficult to show strong family ties to the country. But i dont mean all of the parents having single child were denied visa. Yes they do but they have to show other proofs like lots of property and business in home country, proof that they have travelled and returned back from other countries like u.k, singapore, canada, thailand etc. 

 My parents also got visa rejected yesterday. They showed enough bank balance, property above 3 crore, business, dad's job in govt office, leave letter from the job and good income source.
The VO even didnt clearly gave the reason for denial. The answer was "Hamro Law Le Dina Mildaina". cause 214 (B).

I heard most of the parents were denied visa yesterday and all of them sad. We need to discuss more and find out good ways to get visa for our parents. we need to share knowledge and experience nepali people ...............like the indians do...
