The nepalese werent released because: 1) Nepal lacks people who can talk in international level 2) There were least efforts made to release the Nepalese captives besides blah blahing on TV 3) Our leaders have failed us time and time again...this being one more time 4) We have never dealt with a hostage situation first hand (besides the RNAC take over by taliban; in which india sent negotiators) we never prepare ourselves for anything and always hope some foreign aid will do it for us. and that is why our brothers were killed.
