toshiba, It does not really matter what your background is, when it comes to solving GMAT problem.D Definitely having good English and Math is a plus. Personally, I think taking GMAT class is not going to help you much. Get all the necessary material and master on it. Some of the books I have recommended comes with CD, that contains simulations test, you can try those for timing. Also, for essay there are certain format and keywords that helps to get a better score. Just Google it you'll be able to find it. I used following books (I have posted the link for the latest version available though): 1. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0976570912/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00 2. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0976570920/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i01 3. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0974806951/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00 4. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0743241290/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00 5. http://www.amazon.com/Kaplan-Premier-Online-Practice-Tests/dp/1609780930/ref=dp_ob_title_bk 6. http://www.amazon.com/Cracking-New-GMAT-2013-Edition/dp/0375427473/ref=dp_ob_title_bk 7. http://www.amazon.com/Kaplan-GMAT-Advanced-2009-2010-Edition/dp/1419552554/ref=dp_ob_title_bk Also I used following site/forum to get motivated :) 1. http://www.beatthegmat.com/forums 2. http://www.beatthegmat.com/forums GMAT is not tough, it just takes a little extra effort !!
