SAN....Thanks for the explanation. I was little aggrevated as the article seemed to give full credit to Sajha.com(a business entity) rather than the USERS who came up with this idea and worked hard towards meeting the goal. I worked hard towards meeting the goal and i am personally responsible for motivating 13 friends and family  to donate over $700 for the cause. Since, me and many others were emotionally attached with the cause, as a doner i found the Nepal News article disappointing and even little offensive.

Again thanks for the email you sent below.

I appreciate the input you provide in healthy sajha discussions and I wanted to address one of your concerns you recent put forth.

"There was not even a slightest decency to recognize who the doners were. Sajha.com collected the money re......Don't be shy to pay credit where its due. It was not Sajha.com's collection. It was sajha.com users collection to be precise. Please accept my humble FK You to whoever approved this article. "

As I mentioned in the final update today (please read if you haven't), the copy of media material handed out to the media was http://sajha.com/sajha/html/sharearticle.cfm?articleid=873265

You may not be aware that I never put my name in any sajha related news material because these things are never about me. But turns out Nepali media need names to attach their news to and I guess they published their news the way they want to and not how I would have liked it.

You may not be aware that I have been asked to give interviews in many media including TV's but I have never accepted it because as I said before, I don't want to make sajha about me. It's all about you and others and US as a group.

I hope the copy of sajha's media material puts your concerns to rest.

Best Regards
San
