I'm with you, India is progressing. Everybody brags about how our neighbouring country has become so powerful. What we do not analyse is that - if the country itself is sustainable. Just imagine, no toilet and clean water, regardless how well they are/can be, it still a very unplanned and backward society. Almost half of the population has no toilet. Holy cow, that is a lot. The biggest toilet in the world, Indian railroad.
It's a simple math, the country can not sustain the population, esp an infrastructure that old which was founded with no plans. I see China and Brazil more organized. China beacause of the total government control which literally takes down old city and builds new ones. Brazil, since it is a new country and they're learning the value of an organized society.
