I have also had the same problems trying to make a call in that area. I tried different cards but none of them seemed to work. Just yesterday, I bought a card from telenepal.com, and although it took me a while to have connection, the card worked perfectly. The deal is good too. More than that they have excellent customer service. Even thought it took me a while to have the connection, I was thoroughly impressed by their efforts to help me. It feels good to have a connection after being tired of trying it for hours or days, but even more better part is when you get a call from one of their people saying that I finally got to contact your home. They were trying equally hard, if not more, to have a connection than I was trying. For some reason, which I dont know, the card seems to work better in the morning(US) than in the evening. I am not their agent or anything, but just wished to drop a few lines and share my experience.
