I don't believe on palmisty since I never understood the logic behind that. An idea of choosing the dominant hand to predict future has not been able to convince me to date. But when we talk about "Graha" and "Dasha", we need to understand the logic and rules behind the locations of planets to believe in astrology. Astrology is basically mathematics. It is a prediction based upon the favorable and/or unfavorable positions of planets or similar planetary objects. I think it will be fair to compare astrology with science rather than compare it with anything else.

From my personal experience, I can tell astrology is a vast subject. I have been trying to learn just the basic rules of planets on my own since last three years. I never had that much interest on any of my engineering subjects the way I have on astrology. Even learning with so much interest, energy and enthusiasm, I had never experienced anything that tough to understand. I respect those astronomers who can calculate the longitude and latitude of the axis of the planets from thousand different angles and predict the future. But again, this is just my personal opinon.
