Looks like ppl take only what they want to take and start to discuss, instead of relating it to contemporary issues, social norms and future. We live in society and our acts get reaction from our society. My acts will generate reaction from my society your action will generate reaction from your society unless we do it privately.

In my posting I have said that

---Except for illegal activities, whatever activities pleases them they are free to do. It does not bother me.
---Looks like they are happily performing the act. It is their business.

These two lines should have been enough about my personal feeling towards such activities

BUT I do post a lot about politics/social norms/economy etc about Nepal. Because even after so many years abroad I am still a Nepali citizen use Nepali passport to travel. It is not because I cannot get citizenship of other country but because of my choice. I do not know what will be situation in future.

So, if something happened in Nepal, I relate it to prespective of Nepali society. Its stage of development, economic as well as social and political. Nepali society analyse with the.

I live in a society where coffee shop sell not coffee but pot. Where red light area is in the middle of downtown and 500 meters away from the parliament. Two kilometres far from the Royal palace. Also, the red light area is separated from residential area by only by a narrow road.
when ya gotta go.....

Open place to urinate near my place, this type of toilet is aceptable to the society

I still remember my first visit to a high profile sauna; I thought I accidently entered into ladies sauna. Later realised that 25% of sauna is mixed sauna where men and women enjoy sauna naked and nobody cares. (Off course it was very difficult for me to control)
But can I comment based on where I live? Or is it ok for me to lecture Nepali society saying you know society should be like this ? Or should I put my comment based on thinking/attitude of average people in Nepal.
It is very easy for me to say blah blah because even if I am a Nepali citizen I am living in a different type of society.

What I posted above was sort analysis of  their behaviour based on thinking of average Nepali society which I try to understand by talking with my relatives back in Nepal, by watching Nepali TV (Rarely) listening to Nepali fm and talking with Nepali friends and my visit of Nepal

Nepali society is full of double standard. Let us start with politicians they say one thing do other things

Society is actively engaged in sexual activities but outside, its thoughts are different regarding those activities. In Society those things are not acceptable as normal .

For us Nepali, even in sites like sajha to remain anonymous one nick name is not enough, we need different nick names to post different things. This is Bitter truth, we are like that. We want to hide in our own thoughts.

Nepali youths have moved forward. Their parents want identity which was created hundreds of years back.

My objection to above video is only privacy of the people involved, were those people aware that once someone takes video in absence of proper law/understanding it can be made open to the public and very defaming.

How society reacted to Namrata Shrestha and that Lama women (sorry I forgot the name). I am sure those who were crying loud had extra marital affair sex or pre, marital sex etc.

Remember what happened to that KC gal, who committed suicide lately?

When I was teen ager some Nepali actress committed suicide because her naked photo was published in “Jana Astha” News paper.

Nepali society anonymously does everything behind the curtain but outside it has a different face.

So as a responsible citizen I have two option 1) lecture the society by saying so and so or 2) analyse it and express opinion based on it.

It is easy to lecture I think, but I decided not to do so. I choose second option. I related the activities of those youths and related it with demand of the some quarter of political leader.

Now for those staying in US and saying those activities is not that unusual. I would like to ask few questions. I know you guys can answer whatever you want but please be honest, that is all I want.

1. If you are a unmarried man, will you marry one of those gals in video?  When it is your time to get married you need “asal kt” or even you will try to find  “Kumari Kt”  hey tyo kt ko ta testo video nikle ko thyo, beijjat hunchha yaar testo kt sanga bya garda.

But you will marry a gal who might have been involved in activities worse than that but you are unaware of it.

Just by publishing that video in you tube their status in society changes like that. And once their status changes in society, your openness  won’t work

2. If you are a unmarried gal, will you marry a guy who is in that video? Same is true you gal will say "oh, tyo keta ko ta testo video you tube ma ako thyo , testo keta sanga ko bya garcha."

And don’t tell me I am making up situation, these things has happened in  our society examples are, Namrta Shrestha, Lama actress and that KC gal who committed suicide .

Because  Prem  Ojha published a Video of that gal, she was devastated and finally committed suicide. Where as we all know in our Nepali society there are gals far worse than that and still happily married because their video is not out.

3. If you are a old guy and you have a son who want to marry one of those gal, what will be your reaction. Will you say son, great, if you like it, fine with me, marry her or try to convince your son not to marry her.

4. If you have a daughter who wants to marry the guy in video will you say, “Ok daughter, if you love him then marry him” or try to convince your daughter that may be it is not a good idea to marry him.

If that activity is ok, then it must be ok for you to involve in legal relationship with those type of ppl in your family. If you cannot do that then you are a hypocrite.

If you cannot do that then you are already making them sort of untouchable but come here in sajha and say yeah” that is nothing special”

For me, society must have a mechanism to make those kids aware of the fact that you guys are adult, within the legal framework you are allowed to do whatever you want to do BUT

“Be Aware THERE ARE MANY ACTIVITIES, ALTHOUGH LEGAL, THIS SOCIETY CAN NOT GRASP AND THAT MIGHT AFFECT YOUR FUTEUR.”

Once you convey this message to them, and if they continue to involve in those type activities, it is their problem not ours. If they are happy who are we to intervene?

Instead saying “yeah that is nothing unusual and later treating them differently is cheating them out of their future.

Regarding identity

Those video proves that present generations requirements are different, priorities are different. These youths are the future of the country. If Leaders are so much concerned about “pahichan/culture/language/religion” they better involve with their own kids and ask them to follow activities of their ancestors so that they wont have "kiss contest". And if ethnical leaders try to understand this video, they will not demand ethnical state. Because I bet their own kids give $hit about it

OTHERWISE what will happen...

During so called “Janayudhha”   many men /women were killed just because they were involved “immoral” sexual activities. After “janayudhha” what Prachands son did? Any Maobadi dare to kill him, can “Prachanda” give order to kill his own son, why this double standard.

Don’t bluff people.

Man this is getting longer and longer I better stop here.
