You might be right rethink, although I don't understand how that is hypocritic. Just because these are our internet persona, doesn't mean we need to act childish and talk jibberish. Sensible discussion doesn't need to be anchored on real life persona only.

Many times I have noticed people holding grudges for too long. I forget whose chains I have pulled, but when I see a hate posting directed to my postings for no apparent reason, I immediately know that I must have offended him/her in the past. I don't have a problem offending a poster if he/she deserves it.
