It sounds like a noble thing to do but the majority of Nepalese would rather celebrate a Bhanu Bhakta Jayanti every year but none of the Buddha Jayantis. Therefore somebody needs to start soliciting a petition to endorse Nepal as "The Land of Bhanu Bhakta Acharya and Janaki of Janakpur". As a matter of fact, because majority of Nepalis are Hindus in Nepal, it would be pretty reasonable to swap Ayodhya in India, the birth-place of Rama (a re-incarnation of Lord Vishnu) with a similar land-size in Nepal, say, area around Lumbini and Kapilvastu.
Then we can all proudly sign a new and rightful petition to promote Nepal as "The Land of Bhanu Bhakta Acharya, Motiram Bhatta, Lord Rama and Lordess Janaki (Sita)".
I am not f*&^king with anyone here but there is some bitter truth in my observation.
I wish everyone here a very happy Bhanu Jayanti next week. In the mean time, Baanu Bakta would not be so happy in his grave to learn of so many Nepali bloggers using English instead of his much-touted Devnagari Nepali, his script of choice.
