Is this a joke or what? While all of the three officials who made an error involved in the men's all-round gymnastics final were suspended, their decision was however still supported. American gymnast Paul Hamm was give an extra point due to an error and was awarded a gold-medal while his Korean counter-part was the one who deserved it. Korean are protesting the result but the officials have made it clear that they will stick to the decision made by those judges who they suspended (a hypocrisy). I watched an interview of Paul Hamm about the issue and this is what he said, "It is my medal and no one should take it away from me. This is just how I feel." For a true sportsman, I wonder what the glory and satisfaction is, in keeping a medal when he and the whole world knows he doesn't deserve it. In my opinion, this Olympics has been a joke. The americans are always favored. I watched women's 400 or 800 (don't remember exactly) race where an american runner misses to run and says that she wasn't ready. She was awarded a second chance. Had it been anyone else, it would have been "Too Bad." This just sucks out all the fun from watching Olympics.
