Good slap on the face of people with lost identity.
Some community got some sort of identity few hundered years back, for them that was the biggest event in the universe. They just want to stick with that. They forgot what was their identity before that. For the Identity their forfather developed few centuries  back they want to stop time and space, they dont want to move forward. These people lost their original identity, They neither beeive in original identity nor new identity.Identity keeps on changing depending upon the society and stage of development.

But these people are stucked, they cant go back to their original identity and they dont beleive in new identity, They have identity crisis. For this weeknes of teir own they want to blame others. The identity created somewhere in between is so important to them that they can sacrifice entire generation for that
