All BathroomCoffee wants is some ACCOUNTABILITY (which is what EVERY ANA attendee wants as well). Is that too hard to ask? He, like everyone else is a member of the the Diaspora here whom the ANA claims to represent. It's amusing to me that even though the ACCOUNTABILITY and TRANSPARENCY variables in the ANA's equation have been overlooked for decades, sajha members such as mno and grgdai think it is an acceptable practice and things should continue the way it has been in the past! Just a thought to ponder upon: The ANA has been defunct since 2004 and for it to be hosting the conventions every year (with hundreds of thousands of dollars in various transactions) is an outright illegal activity that could have deep repercussions if the IRS and other state authorities investigate into this matter. This criminal case is obviously not what we, the attendees of the ANA want to see take place but it's only a matter fo time before the dissatisfaction heats up and things move towards a more serious direction. How can the ANA help itself? Well, it is about time the ANA release it's finances publicly EVERY year for the thousands of ANA participants who pay the membership dues and the funds from the membership dues should also be used towards an unbiased and fair election. It sickens me that one can be a member of the ANA for years but his/her membership carries no right to vote nor does it allow one to stand for elections. And finally, instead of the ANA executives being provided with free rooms, meals, transportation, concert/party tickets, etc., can we have those funds spent on the cash strapped college kids who make up the majority of the ANA attendees? Give them free meals, sports registrations or party tickets instead of giving it to the fat cats! That would be a fair route to take rather than the decades of mismanagement we've witnessed!
