I know canon eos 60 d is a good one. I have that camera and it's really easy to shoot and the pics are amazing. I bought for 1000 a year ago but now it's down to around 650. You might have to invest some money on the lenses but with time.

I also know canon t2i and rebel are relatively cheaper..
Look into those too
