IMO, ANA is a "CON-VENTION" that attracts some specific Nepalese from thousands of miles away just like Bangkok attracts some desperate sex-tourists from Western countries those, on the contrary, are supposed to be sexually liberated. You don't have to fly to distant places for a few hours of fun and entertainment if you do not want to be up for a nasty surprise with the credit card bill next month. 
The best fun things in life may be available right in your own locality at a minor fraction of the time and money.
Speaking of a "CON-VENTION", it would be pretty appropriate to interpret the show as an InVENTION of a bunch of CONS who cannot hold accountability of some past event proceeds to the tunes of $80k.
