First time when I saw the indigenous people's movement in Nepal, I thought ok we got something progressive going on and its good for the future of Nepal's development and its people. However, when the movement started, it turned out to be different one. I saw, heard, and described the movement about hating bahun and chhetri of Nepal. WHAT???? Seriously??? Every person who denies its not what it is then please check your own comment regarding this issue. “Bahun chhetri katinchha ragat chatinchha”... this was not chanted by a single person in big mass. It was a voice of their movement. They were shouting like they want to kill bahun and chhetri just because who they are. Come on. I mean you guys go on street and shout the slogan of killing bahun and chetri and expect they don't retaliate any way. If their movement was more about MESSAGE, more about INFORMING people and more about keeping people honest about their deprived situation, then why any body would have a problem with state with WHATEVER name on it. Unlike, their message was kill bahun, kill chhetri. Really???? Do they really think they are going to get the power by killing other caste? Barbarians. Well, I don't have any problem being in a state where opportunities are provided to those who are helpless. But what about those helpless people are in other side of isle? What are we going to do with them? Where is the answer for that? Or may be use an indigenous movement's idea of kill them all ??? There is nothing wrong for country being progressive but there is something wrong for calling people to wipe them out and threatening to kill everybody. Well, choice is yours, how you want to move. If you can be inclusive and tell other caste they should not be worried for anything then I don't think anybody has any problem with state being called after indigenous people's last name or whatever it is. I saw the inclusiveness in Dharan implemented by Limbuwan. There are tons of Bahun in their “Parishad”. Well, everybody applauds on that. I don't think they did something dumb keeping bahun on their committee, but I think they are far more progressive than anybody other caste in Nepal. You lost your movement because of your MESSAGE. If your message were about being inclusive then I don't think people would afraid of your motives. If you go to Madhes, situation is more miserable than any other place. They don't care how many pieces they create in mountain side but they can't compromise with multiple state in Tarai. Does anybody care in mountain side about this? NOPE. Cos the state they claimed is not in Tarai side. Keep your message straight. Unless you make your movement about respect nobody has any problem. But you go there in street and tell bahun and chhetri that you gonna kill them, there will not be any damn constitution in Nepal ever.
