Hi All,
Long time reader, first time poster. It has been a decade since I came to US. As all or most of us - I have been through hardship and good times. It has always been my desire to give something back to mother Nepal and people (specially children and women in Nepal). I am fortunate enough to say the time has come. With the help from my family and close friends, I am working on opening a foundation or non-profit for women and children in Nepal which would help them to be independent.
The reason I wrote this thread was in order to see what sort of good ideas and suggestions Nepalese people have for me
Here are some topics to start the discussion
1. Foundation or Non-Profit
2. Future Funding - Donation wise (I am doing the start up with help from friends/family)
3. Work relation - as me being in US and working with people in Nepal
4. Name of the organization
I would really appreciate if you can stay on topic and express your ideas and suggestions.
