Nepal-China friendship

i have a story to say regarding nepal-china friendship.
once upon a time i was in my university doing my assignment in the library. there was a chinese girl next to me. i forgot what happened but at some point i started talking with her. she asked me where i am from to which i replied nepal. then she asks me where is nepal and i tell it is in the southern part of china between china and india; it is china's neighboring country. she gets really amazed and tells me she never knew this. she asks me what is nepal known for and i tell mt. everest. she was shocked, she thought it was in china and starts searching about nepal in her chinese google (they have their own hugely popular search engine like google).

the moral of the story: looks like they don't teach geography in china.

now my point of view. nepal as a country should keep a good relation with all of its neighboring countries and around the world. the only thing is that nepal should not be influenced by any countries and no matter what  it should not let it be a playground for other countries. there is nothing nepal can gain by severing relations with india or china but can gain everything by maintaining good relations. nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world and it is lucky to be in the middle of the two major economies of the world. the economic tides that have been seen in india and china will definitely even unknowingly rise nepal too and this has a lot to do with india rather than with china as india have let nepal maintain a 1 indian rupee=1.6 nepalese rupee conversion rate which i believe in reality should be much more (just guessing 1 indian rupee=3.2 nepalese rupee). how to use these two great economies to our advantage lies completely in the hands of nepal. nepal should be able to persuade china and india by providing a favorable ground for investment to invest in nepal (remember thirsty person always goes to water, water does not come to a thirsty person).
nepal and india have similar religion, culture and language and it has always been a major player in the development of nepal. nepal is a country that runs on foreign aids and india is one of the major contributer.
china has also invested in the development projects but apart from that these two countries have been totally isolated from each other until recently. people in nepal seem to support china over india but china is really like an alien to nepal. there's no difference whether we support china over india or mars over india. always a poor guy is jealous of the rich guy and feels intimidated by the rich guy.
