I am not against beauty contest. In fact, I think it is good for the Nepali women. There are very few outlets for having fun in Nepal. I think this gives them a chance to be involved in something exciting. I personally don't think they should take it too seriously, even though the "business sponsor" may want you think otherwise. All the above statement does not mean we need to throw our cloths and perform in bikini contest. Our culture is very modest and we should embrace that. She definitely does not feel comfortable exposing herself like that. Believe me, I am not an old fashioned guy, but I believe people should do what they are comfortable with. I am sure lot of these Nepalese girls are thinking, ýIndians are doing it why shouldnýt weý. Wrong, Wrong, Wrong. We donýt need to follow the Indians or anyone for that matter. The sponsors will say ýit is nothing to wear bikini and expose yourselfý. Here we have to realize that they are making money out of this whole process. They donýt care about anything else. So girls, go participate in a beauty contest. Have fun but donýt let others pressure you into doing things you are not comfortable from ýINSIDEý. Regards
