Actually, I am planning to bring money from Nepal and was looking for a legal option. It seems like I have to get it from a money exchange. I still remember there was a thread in Sajha long time ago regarding bringing money from Nepal. Please do let me know if there is any reliable alternatives for bringing money from Nepal.
