Bro, yes, 9-5 jobs do suck. Big-time. Actually, my hatred (yes, hatred - no less a word would suffice) of the 9-5 routine made me attend grad school instead of going on a job-hunt after graduation. Never mind the meager stipend. The freedom to do stuff at own pace carries with it a value of more-than-6-digits. Gotta savor what you do, man. I intend to refuse to succumb to the 9-5 routine even after I am done with grad school. Gonna be either a freelance writer/novelist, or an academic who does "research" on god-knows-what in beautiful locales, or a frewheeling advisor of strategy to some political/business bigwig.
