Despite many of us hating the monarchy, as a person, King Birendra was a father to many of us. I was suprized how emotional I felt watching this video. I guess all those years of seeing him on Nepal Television and hearing him on Radio, I have surprizingly developed a relationship, even an affection for him.
I didn't respect him as a king. But I know he was a good human being with good intentions at heart. Thank you for posting this video.
