I would have been happier if they get player like Tonie or Rahim kinda players. If knick were to get Eric Dampier, he would improve Knicks significantly but what price? I don't like long term deal with him. If he were to sign big term deal, Knicks won't have any chances landing Big Yao ming in 07 season. The players they should move are Tim thomas and Shandon Anderson, they make more than $20 mil combined this year. I think Knicks will do better this year with the players they have now in their roster. The following starting lineup is good. Marbury - H20 - tim thomas - kurt thomas - nazr mohammed They are a playoff team for sure. I see them only be contending for championship after 05-06 season when most of the expensive players (tim thomas, penny) contract expires
