This was last hail-Mary style shot. Look at the time, 94 seconds, i.e. extra time. This shot was shot to go towards the goal post so that either it just sinks in OR one of the team mate can head/kick it in. It wasn't solely intended to be a pass; It was more of a goal shot than a pass play
