Calm down dude! no need to take it personal man. I dont know you and you dont know me too. No need to judge anybody over here. I just didn't appreciate you judging the hip hop artist in such way. Let me tell you one thing, not all rock/metal songs are good. Many are full of sh*t as well. Same goes with the rap song too. I agree about the lyrics of the rap song that you are talking about is full of sh*t but that doesn't proove any thing. Let me give you an example of Tupac Shakur aka 2Pac. Rolling stone Magazine has named him 86th Greatest Artist of all time. He even sold 75 million album world wide in 2007.(Wikipedia). So if you think rap is for retards then 75million + people around the world must be retards ....... right ? Common man grow up. If you dont like it, its fine. I dont like it either. But its not good to dis respect other peoples choice. After all this, still you wanna see things that you wanna see then I cant help you. Like they say " Ashar ma aakha futeko ko gai le hariyo nai dekcha". NO OFFENCE.
And yes about me.... unlike you I dont claim to know how to use multiple instruments but I can play guitar pretty good. I grew up listening to Narayan Gopal, later started listening to Eagles, Metallica, Doors and even Back street boys. and during my late school yrs I started listening to Scorpians, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Led Zaplin, Eagle Eye Cherry and so on. Went to Sadhana Kala Kendra for guitar lesson and started listening to Pink Floyed, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Jimmi Handrix, Extreme and so on. I even learned to play the intro lead piece of Hotel California by eagles. Later in my + 2 yrs I grew interest on a wide variety of music. Linkin Park, Suger Ray, Bon Jovi, Sapultura, Emenim, Shaggy, Savage Garden, just to name a few. Now a days I really dont have a lot of time so I listen to whatever music my car sterio playes. Its ironic that I never grew a particular intrest on any specific gener of music. I guess I like best of everything and equally respect creativity. Talking about singing, I dont rap but love to sing Eagles, specially Love will Keep us alive and More than words by Extreme. I love singing Nepathya and Kandara too. If you want to believe me thats fine and if you dont believe me thats fine too. I dont have any thing to proove here.
