Chaurey,
I am not just any kind of Hindu. I am a Nepali Hindu. There is a specific flavor to my religion.
How can I be a Hindu when Pashupatinath no longer exists? How can I be a Hindu when Budhanilkantha temple is but a memory? How can I be proud of myself as a Hindu when my Buddhist brothers and sisters can no longer go to Swayambhu and Boudhanath?
How can we visit our places of pilgrimage above and die as a Nepali and have my body burned by the ashes of Arya ghat like my ancestors did, if there is no longer any Nepal?
