IF you could not win the war, there is no meaning of asking the result of war. Nobody wants war but it happens. "Munda Muunda Buddhi, Kunda- kunda Pani " And same people thought in different way based on his/her knowledge experience and socio-economic condition. Just Think about yourself, you do not always think on the same way when you have enough money in pocket( more kind, generous) or no money to eat cheap food after working hard (more rebellious).
Civil War was a disease of Nepal developed due to socio-economic condition of society. I am not saying that was right movement taken by Maoist to address the problem of society but that was inevitable also due to lack of real democracy in Nepal. (I do not believe Multiparty system is not synonymous to democracy as many of us think, I simply believe Democracy: Government of People for the people).
So, Some people including BRB also thought civil was right solution to address the socio-economic problem of Nepal. But some people among them (BRB) realized that was not correct way and tried to change that cruel war. I strongly believe, BRB had vital role to change Maoist from terrorist. So, we all almost over from that war. So, I am against those who want to continue war by justifying war and those who want to force them to send into war.
I do believe people never win in any kind war. And officially nobody won in the civil war. Many people suffered but revenge is not only solution but also triggered the non-ending conflict. So, we all should be result oriented and at this moment it is not right time to dig out all incidents one by one. Time will come to address that problem too.
BRB has too many weakness and limitations but I do not doubt about his intention to make this country developed. He is compromising with everything – gambling his political career to get rid of civil war. I do not accept he is doing all thing OK but he still can do better than any other alternative persons to change the society , change the maoist. And it is too early to think that he is completely different than Maoist and Mr Prachanda will let him to be successful. ( Who knows the game of Prachanda- Why he makes BRB makes Jambo Cabinet ?   
Doing bad things for good cause is better than doing good thing for bad cause.
