Having two master's degree here in US i did applied for the PR in Canada under skilled worker. It took me two year to get it coz they called me for interview and I'm going there in Dec.
I personally recommend u to apply yourself if u have lil time to research and go through some forums most of them r pretty helpful for different categories.
As the friend here said earlier, Canada is definitely other option for US as it almost have the same system in many respect and some better in other like free health care n better education and upbringing environment for the kids.
