If you have to stamp your visa at Kathmandu and the interviewing person ask your transcript then he can deny your visa reasoning poor grades. However I do not see an immigration officer at POE asking for or having knowledge of your grades. If you get low than 2 gpa your school can inform USCIS and you can be in trouble but for that your trip does not matter.
