Footy given your point is valid that international students may not get equal chance of getting hired by a US company due to visa status and H1B work authorization headaches I agree with you on that. However; if you fail to see how these crooks are running the show by blowing up resumes and falsifying work experience that you never had, how do you justify that? In my mind it is pretty evident that these people are misleading a prospective employery by providing false information presented in their resume. Yes, I agree that a resume is not a legal document and employers have the burden of conducting a background information on each candidate but these consultancies are putting their own people as refrences and lying to the employer. Again i do agree that the lack of strict background checks in part of the prospective employer is a control failiure as well.

I do agree that some IT consultancies put together a comprehesive training package where they train their consultants before marketing them off. However; I do also know that most of these IT consultanting companies run training session only during weekends and focus more on how to lie when taking a client call, that is if they are given the chance to take a client call as most client calls are taken for the candidate by another person (AKA also known as proxy caller who takes the end client interview over the phone for the consultant who is being marketed) if this is not fraudulent then I don't know what is.

I am not going to change my views about  these IT consultancies that are wrong. What is wrong is wrong. It might have worked out for lot of people but then that does not make it right.
