Yes I believe in rebirth. Every life is a continual flow of two separate entities: mind (chitta) and body. Mind and body creates a personality of "I". What we call "I" is nothing more than a complex and intricate association of mind and body. When our body dies, mind remains behind. Our mind has a very deep attachment towards body. This deep attachment we can experience in our day to day life too. For example, when fire or weapon touches our body how do we feel, when disease impacts our body how do we experience. These are just few examples that show that we do have strong attachement towards our body. This strong attachment towards the body is obvious at the moment of death. Means when this body dies that means when this body cannot operate anymore, our deeply attached mind seeks another body. Thus, mind creates another birth conceivement. If our mind would be totally detached towards this body and personality belief of I, then the rebirth would not be possible as in the case of highly attained spiritual masters or also called as arahat. Rest of others except these attained spiritual master, will take rebirth. But to which existence the rebirth will take place, it depends upon many many factors such as mental volition at the moment of death, the person's kamma at the moment while he was living etc.
