A typical example of we-cant-get-along-worth-sh*t. A guy goes to a nepali resturant, and 'offended' (this words been thrown around a lot, spelled wrong at times too, so figured, id use it too) by the service, decides to go public. The right thing to do, would be to help out a fellow nepali by telling his drawbacks and how he could make his business better, in person and in private. Or if you dont care, just walk out and never go back again. And not to mention, getting mad when asked for an ID while drinking beer. The manager was just following his procedures. Now, lets go to Mr. Resturant-manager, Mr. I-love-my-religion-and-dont-have-a-sense-of-humor-worth-squat. He apoliziges at first, and says he doesnt think he mistreated anyone, and then goes on to explain a bunch of 'roudy-mannerless-nepali' that came into his resturant and 'offended' him. By doing so, he tries to justify his mistreatment to that bunch, which, in the first place he had denied he had done anyways. I dont have to be an expert on the guy who made that comment, but Mr. resturant manager, I can swear on his behalf that he wasnt searching for beef. If he was, I am sure he would have gone to McDonald's. Noone is fool enough to actually ask for a beef momo, or whatever it was, but, on the other hand, you Mr. manager, are no lesser fool, by thinking that person was serious when he said that. So, think twice before using the term 'beefsearchers' (heeh) again. And that thing, about papaad - jhaapad, how come you havent explained that??????? I mean, if you are willing to label people as beefsearchers, than those costumers can label you as 'manager-who-wants-to-jhaapad-his-costumers'. It would be the same thing. I am sure you are going to say that was humor, but so was the beef comment. Mind you, the costumers did not thing you actually wanted to jhaapad them, yet you actually thought they wanted beef. Tsk, tsk....... Mr manager. Now this is sad. There were all nepalis there, yet absolutely failing to understand each others sense of humor, and get a little chuckle out of it. About the ID, if someone says hes a grad student "somewhere in NH", I would find no reason not to believe him. Come on, think for a bit, would the cops send a nepali in a nepali resturant to check whether they would serve alcohol to a minor???? how likely is that?? By reading the other thread, and if all that is true, there is no doubt our manager here mistreated these people (we are not even going to go into the issue of how he gave preference to americans over nepalis), and our costumers did not exactly do the right thing by going to the public about the problem. I have a feeling the problem goes way beyond that, one that i cannot even try to explain. PEACE
