The 20th ANA was held in Chantilly, VA in 2002. This was turnaround moment for ANA since 1974AD and Deep Shrestha brought in huge masses of Nepali Diaspora.  Also the first Dj night was held outside of hotel venue at the Shark's club for profit.

ANA went defunct in Sept 9, 2002. If ANA was so successful, why it went defunct? The old guards have been forever dreaming of building a Pashupati-Buddha Mandir in the greater Washington DC area. Twice their attempts have failed to materialize due to City not permitting house of worship in those areas.

When ANA was cash-cow for NECC, why did "someone" choose to defunct right after the grand successful event?
