1. Do not run screaming from the room. This is considered rude. 2. If you must back away, do so slowly and with discretion. 3. Do not assume they are attracted to you. 4. Do not assume they are not attracted to you. 5. Do not expect them to be as excited about meeting a heterosexual as you may be about meeting a gay person (they were probably raised with straights). 6. Do not immediately start talking about your boy/girlfriend or husband/wife in order to make it clear that you are straight--they probably already know. 7. Do not ask them how they got that way. Instead ask yourself how you got the way you are. 8. Do not assume they are dying to talk about being gay. 9. Do not expect them to refrain from talking about being gay. 10. Do not trivialize their experience by assuming it is a bedroom issue only. They are gay 24 hours a day. 11. Do not assume they want to be treated like the opposite sex. On another note... I finally saw Shrek 2 last night. It was mad funny. I can't believe I was always like 'blah' when people asked me to go see it... last night I kind of got talked into going to see it and I'm glad I did. That's the last time I judge something before I see it. :p ... well actually... maybe not... I am still my judgmental self. I am listening to "it's raining men". This officially makes me a fag. So this was my second entry here and I leave you with two thoughts: "Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense." And: Tonight for the first time... just about half past 10... for the first time in history it's gonna start raining men... it's raining men *thunder*... HALLELUJAH!
