Considering the richness of temples and religious symbols in Nepal, how come us Nepalese can't get our act togethor enough to see the opportunity in Nepal that the Indians and Chinese seem to see in our country?

Why is it that foreigners see the beauty and opportunity in Nepal, but us Nepalese can't? Why is it that foreigners are ready to invest money, time and energy into developing Nepal as a resource for tourism, but very few Nepalese see the potential?
Do we lack imagination?
