People are making big fuss about this event. The team came up with this idea thinking of generating some money for NYF during ANA convention. As far as I know these people are all young professional individuals doing well enough at their places. Yes, Karki pariwar is involved with the initiative but that shoulnd't be considered as bad. They are just coming up with a different idea.

It can be a platform for some like minded people. If a person finds Mr/Miss perfect from this event, it'd be considered as a very successful event. But that's not their first motive; their first motive is to collect some money for NYF. If you pay $20 for this event, you give some donation money to NYF and get a chance to talk with some strange people.

I think the organizer completely failed to answer some serious questions in this thread. Organizing this sort of event and showing your anger/frustration with readers/prospective participants only weakens your objective. You shouldn't have referenced "Jackson Height's $20 keti" or whatever in the very beginning. Anyways, I can wish a good luck to the organizer and participants. Aafulai Baal Matlab!
