Back pain?

After struggling for years trying to find the cause of my back pain, I finally found something that helped me and I'd like to share that with the Nepali folks out here.

First, remember that I had no structural issue; i.e. no herniated disk, pinch nerve etc; that was evident in MRI/X-rays. Also, I am not a medical professional, so please consult your doctor before you try this out.

I tested for Vitamin D deficiency and my level was lower than recommended level. The test is also called 25(OH)D and level under 50 nmol/L is considered deficient. The doctor could prescribe you to a strong regiment of Vitamin D (10,000 to 50,000 IU). In my case, that did the trick.

You can also get over the counter vitamin D for upto 5000 IU. I think daily dose of 2000 IU to 5000 IU should help once you are off the doctor's prescription. Vitamin D is primarily received from sunlight and some report say a large percent (over 50% to be conservative) are deprived of it.

Try it out (get the over the counter medication), I am taking 5000 IU vitamin D supplement (any brand) and it is helping me out. But again, consult your doctor before you start any regimen.
