Folks.....seems like you guys are not aware of some thing called cap-gap extension. If your H1B is approved or you have applied for H1B and have receipt , you will be allowed to work with expired OPT card. Do further research about Cap-Gap Extension. I am not aware of your exact situation but could be helpful.
