@lute bahun: Firstly thanks for your comment...I will try to take care that in my future threads...even though I am assuming people who knows FE  are only gonna reply this thread...2ndly I am not looking for wavier...I am looking for options..I have heard some states do not require credential evaluation.

@clickerguy: Thanks for your reply, I am in Alabama, and they have said in their website that " you will be required to have your transcripts evaluated by NCEES"  and it costs $400 for that evaluation. I am not sure about other evaluation centres. I have the same fear what if they want me to take some courses on history/geography/psychology or sth like tht which we never took in our undergrad.
can we take our FE exam in the state other than the one at which our graduate school is?? If we can then I think it is the best option rather then spending 400 bucks...what do you think?? and even if I go for credential evaluation do they ask for transcript directly sent from university or notarized copy will work?
