What is wrong with word Madhes?  You like Terai, but not Madhes?  What is the difference?  Madhes is “Madhya Desh” , Terai is plain area. They are two different words to address the same place.  I am from Madesh, so I call myself Madhesi or even Teraian.  I see no difference!  Even Nepalese newspapers address people from Madhesh as Madhesi!  Read on!  It is just calling someone nepalese, Indians, Punjabi, bengalis, Biharis, or Gujarati..
