 Its really a good thing that you came here in sajha to ask for the help. When i had depression, still have it,,,  to recover from it i follow some advise that our own sajaints give over here. Many Thanx to them.   I couldn't able to find the link for my post but here are something you can do

1. Get Enough Sleep. Don't compromise your sleep no matter what, try to get enough sleep.

2. Exercise.  you don't have to go to gym just a light exercise even 15 minutes running will help.

3. Throw away junk food and eat healthy food. vegetables, wheat, minerals and vitamins. Eat healthy food.

4. Don't work too much , take few days off and go somewhere you will enjoy. you don't have to go too far. may be downtown, or a movie

or a musical concert any where you would like to go.

5. This part is missing. 

6. Never push yourself too much for anything. not for your homeworks, your work , your payments or anything, Stay calm and handle one thing at once.

7. Share your feelings with a close friend, that's what I did. I know most of people might take it easily, so just share it with someone

who will understand you. If you don't have anyone hey sajha is always where.. Some great people are always here. We will help you.

8. Depression is mainly tied with a problem. whatever your problem is fight back. try to push it away from you. I don't know what's ur

problem but if it is a relationship problem ( sorry if i am wrong) remember you are not alone. I am in same boat too, other sajhaits

are facing the same . You are not ALONE. we are fighting and you can fight it too.

9. Patiient : " Doctor, I've hurt my arm in several Places. What should  i do now?". Doctor: "Well, don't go to those places anymore".

10. If you aren't fall asleep so far, read on. You do have patience.

11. Drinking never helps. Stop drinking and smoking for a while. You will feel a lot better.

12. Try  to do things, that  you enjoy most. 

13 Watch comedy and make yourself laugh. Search Russell peter on yourube. It will make your day.

14.  Come to sajha again.
