Update on Late Manoj Shrestha (http://helpmanojfamily.weebly.com/ )

We have been told that the autopsy has been completed, and that the hospital is waiting on some final paper works before they can release the medical report and his body to the funeral home.

We are hopeful that all the necessary legal paperwork would be completed by his family members in the US and other relevant offices by tomorrow, Friday.

We have scheduled a public visitation:

Time: 2:00 – 4:00 pm
Date: Sunday, May 1, 2011
Place: Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights Boulevard, Houston, Texas 77008.
Telephone: 713-862-8844
(Contact person at Heights Funeral Home: Jane Hemberger)

The service is open for everyone. This would be a last public event to bid farewell to the body of Late Manoj Shrestha.

If all the paperwork and other legal formalities gets completed by tomorrow, Friday then his body would be scheduled for Nepal by early next week.

Sending a deceased body from Houston to Kathmandu can cost  USD 11-15000.00 . We are close to hitting the USD 90000 mark with our donation drive.

Nepalese Association of Houston (www.houstonnepalese.org) requests everyone to kindly take some time and help us out in our donation drive to send Late Shrestha’s body to his family in Nepal. You can make a donation using our secure paypal account accessible from our official website. Please click on the “donate” button, and you would be directed to the paypal site.

Please note that NAH primary mission is to sustain and promote Nepalese culture and tradition in the Houston areas. It is a community based not-for-profit organization. Without your financial assistance, we will not be able to take on other important responsibilities like this one. So at time like this, a united community coming together means a lot to us.

We will provide you with regular updates on this issue as we receive it.

Thank you for your support.

Jai Nepal !
