Anuja Baniya is a bahun or not? Just curios to know. :D :D

I did not believe this story from the beginning, but I hated to say anything against it, because even if it has a slim chance to be true, if it was a true story, it deserves applaud. People are now behind the truth, and it is almost sure that this story is going to be proved as a fraud story - a classic example of bahun-dominated nepalese journalism. Let me share what I thought immediately I read the news piece.

In my estimation, it should be about 15kg weight (33 lb), assuming all Rs 1000 bills. Each Rs 1000 bill weights approx. 1.5 gm. And the bag has its own weight. A bag of 25 lb rice is heavy weight for me (5'6", 160lb man) to carry 500 yards distance from my parking lot to kitchen. How can this tiny lady could easily take 33 lb without even getting noticed by anyone around her?

If it was all Rs 500 bills, it should weight about 28 kg (61 lbs). If just half of the amount was Rs 100 bills, it should weight more than 60 kg (132 lbs), which is definitely heavier than herself.

The size of tha bag should also be as large as the weight is. Because of the size and weight of the unclaimed bag, no body would even dare to pick up the bag, even it was indeed forgotten by some absent-minded fool, who used public bus without anyone accompanying him while carrying that much load of his own money. Unclaimed bags scare people, especially in Terai-belt, because they may contain bombs. A black color unclaimed bag should definitely invite bomb-diffusal units of Army or security force before anyone pick it up and take home.

I will now go and listen bbc.
