I had gone to watch Nepal's matches for the AFC Cup qualifiers and the turnout was great. We beat Afghanisthan 1-0, lost against North Korea 0-1 and drew against Sri Lanka 0-0. We made to the AFC Cup.

We Nepalis are a very passionate group when it comes to football, but sadly there wasn't as much hype created by the media when the AFC Qualifiers tournament took place. Even then seeing the turn out at Dashrath Stadium showed how much we follow and love football.

AFC President' s Cup starts today. Nepali Police Club will be representing Nepal, being the winners of the 'A' Division League. Good luck to the boys.

We definitely need to inject more money into grass root football development. Nepal has the talent, we now need to groom it.
