Tourism in Nepal is suffered by awfully unprofessional business practice, ignorant public and careless government.

I don't understand why nepalese people need to rob tourists at every corner? The tourist price is so expensive everywhere, they are forced to pay high in anything they purchase themselves, from a cup of tea to transportation fair, room rent to gift items. They get the same stuff at cheaper price if a nepalese (tour guide / friend / etc.) help them to purchase. By charging elevated tourist rate, no one can get rich overnight, but such unfair practice leaves very bad impression about the country and people.

One my friend returned back from Nepal promising never to visit Nepal again. She was prepared to face dirt and dust, environmental pollution etc. but she was so diappointed by the cheating attitude of Nepalese everywhere. I felt sad after listening many stories from her and tried to console myself, boy Nepal is changed. You won't find the beauty of your Nepal in the current Nepal.

IT HURTS, but that is the TRUTH.
