Why are we not rich ??

It never seems to amaze me on how our pockets never seem to be filled with a sense of humility - but full of defensiveness, scorn, vanity and unnecessary criticism. Being open to views that are different from ours, yet possibly better, can only help improve our situation, right? Forget about this thread and think for a moment on what it means to us as a nepali - what positive contributions have we made, does being rich imply only monetary values or are they something else, are we happy with our current surroundings, do we value and practice honesty, etc. Our defense of nepal can only be characterized by our actions - otherwise, the value of it or what we say is nil.

There is a clear message of the writer in the memo: it is possible - and that is ALL we need to take from it. The economics of South Korea's rise is not difficult to understand but hardly easy to implement. Difficulty of implementation comes from our unwillingness to change our thought process, our uninviting attitudes, our lack of unity and our low form of character and personality.

We must first all learn how to be a good human being, validated by our peers and the community, before we vomit utterances - that is all.

This memo, however, is an old story: http://sajha.com/sajha/html/OpenThread.cfm?ThreadID=24298
