GPA itself is an average. Lets say the GPA is ranged from 0-4.
GPA for one semester no matter how many courses you have takend would be single value.
lets say , bettys gpa for two sems are A, B
amys for two sems are x,y
Given condition,
A>x and B>y
you want to prove
(X+y)/2 >(A+B)/2 ==> X+Y>A+B ==> x (smaller than A) + y(smaller than B) > A+B
Mathematically, it is not possible.
